Job Title:                      Social Organizer

Working Station:        District Umerkot

Reporting to:              District Coordination Officer

Project title:               Education Early Response for Emergency in Sindh

 

  1. Required qualifications.

Candidates with graduate degree in relevant fields and 3 years’ experience of working on rehabilitation projects as Social Organizer with UN organisations/INGOs/NGOs

 

  1. Contract

The initial contract will have a duration of three months. The contract can be extended for another 3 months basis on the continuity of the project and satisfactory performance of the candidate.

 

  1. Main Responsibilities
    • Responsible for coordination/liaisons with communities to enrol their children in school, who were already admitted to the school before the flood to ensure the continuity of their education.
    • Responsible for quality and continuity of TLCs through regular field visits.
    • Awareness session and dissemination of messages for community members (parents, children) to encourage learning activities and inclusion on child protection, inclusion, nutrition, health, and hygiene.
    • To maintain documentation, and submit daily, weekly, and monthly updates about TLCs, student attendance, teacher training and attendance and community meeting.
    • Responsible for data collection & keep all required data of TLC and children.
    • Responsible for daily basis, weekly & monthly report to project coordinator
    • Undertake field visits to target population for humanitarian assistance to flood-affected areas as per project criteria.
    • To ensure the organization’s visibility.
    • Any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor/ Management.
